Project
The General Delegation of Major Works entrusted SCET-TUNISIE with the mission of technical studies to carry out work to strengthen and perpetuate the Corniche road in Brazzaville following the appearance of some disorders in certain critical sections of the road in the area, which poses risks of potential instability that could call into question the stability of the development.
An emergency solution is proposed at the level of the damaged part of the water descent (instability recorded) where a gully has dug at the limit of the PK4 water descent which experienced a rupture at the start of the assignment.
In the second stage, it was deemed necessary to strengthen emergency planning by :
- The installation of a permanent mechanical stop at the level of the ravine.
- The replacement of the concrete rock descent with a reinforced concrete runner with the necessary provisions ensuring the stability of the base with regard to the risks of scouring and the minimization of the risks of leakage.
- The generalization of the toe stop principle to the entire area bordering the water descent by opting for a mechanical gabion stop combined with an underground drainage system.
Our mission
- Réalisation des études techniques pour les travaux de confortement et de pérennisation de la route de la Corniche de Brazzaville.
- Coordination générale des travaux.
